Jesus knows there will be times fear will overwhelm us – the fear of loss, failure, false accusations, sickness and disease, today’s politics. Fear changes our focus. Fear is a more deceptive enemy than satan. Fear stops us from admitting our guilt. Not even your natural gifts, talent, education can help you to overcome fear.

The only way to overcome such fear is to build God’s character in your life. If you want to become God’s person, you must follow His process. For me, I meditate on the Word of God day and night and whatever I do prospers. No matter how unsteady your life appears to be, meditate on the Word of God day and night and whatever you do will prosper.

Your consistency in prayer and faithfulness is the way out. Please, constantly pray in your heart; pray without ceasing – in hymns, spiritual songs and making melodies in your heart to the Lord. A break in prayer would mean a break in faith and a break in faith is a break with God.

Remember, your enemy loses no time in plotting against you, so you should lose no time in committing yourself to God in prayer.

We are constantly making decisions, some trivial and others fundamental and life changing. Common sense tells us that some decisions are much more important than others. However, unless the decisions we make are rooted in God’s Word, they cannot stand the test of time. Such decisions would soon fade out in the face of tests and trials because they are not based on God’s unchanging, unfailing Word. As a Christian, what is in the inspiration behind the decisions you make? Are you making decisions based on what your circumstances say or what God’s Word says about them? Are you reacting to your challenges according to how you feel or according to the principles of your faith?

Remember, there is no neutral kingdom. Like Joshua of old in Joshua 24:15 told his people, it is time for you to choose this day what you are making of God. Is He one of those things or the only thing in your life? Deciding to put your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Saviour is the most important decision you can make in life. In other words, life’s biggest decision is what you do with Jesus. Therefore make a decision born of faith to serve Jesus with all you are, all you have and all you can do. Learn to confess: “No matter what happens, no matter what comes – He is my Saviour. Whether trouble or not – He is my Redeemer. Come rain, come shine – He is my Shelter. I have no other refuge than this command of Jesus, ‘Only believe.’ ”

2019 Election: Alarming Prophecy For Nigeria

On Sunday 13th January 2019, Prophet T.B. Joshua sent a message to be read on his behalf with a serious prophetic message for the nation of Nigeria:

“I have been praying for you and the whole world. This year, 2019, is a very fearful year. You can imagine the revelation I have. I have to pray for God to give me wisdom on how to present this message to the world at large.

“I have a message for the nation of Nigeria: Nigeria should fast and pray this coming Thursday (17-01-19) and upper next Wednesday (23-01-19). We should pray so that God should change the bad happenings I see to good. I am not permitted to say exactly what will happen. This revelation will be read to you the moment God gives me the wisdom to present it to you.”

We encourage all our viewers around the world to join Nigeria in prayer and fasting during this important period.

Prophet T.B. Joshua: 2019, A fear Year

An exclusive YouTube video of Nigerian cleric T.B. Joshua labelling the year 2019 as “very fearful” while praying at an undisclosed ‘prayer mountain’ has gone viral, attracting over 170,000 views just three days since its release.

“I am here because I know where I need to grow. When we know where we need to grow, it is victory itself,” Joshua, who is known for his often-unconventional actions, tells viewers whilst speaking on a rocky plateau in a nameless mountainous region.

Joshua stated he was there “to know the mind of God concerning this fearful year 2019 and also to pray for you and the world at large.”

This comes in lieu of the cleric specifically calling on Nigerians to pray against “a stopover” and “the interruption of the democratic practice” last year, as the West African giant prepares for elections next month in February 2019.

“I like being one with nature – where there are no disturbances, where we don’t need to close our eyes to pray,” he explained, indicating he had been in prayer and fasting for several days to begin the New Year.

“I developed this habit right from the beginning of my ministry… When I need a quiet place, I run to the wilderness, to the mountain,” he continued, conspicuously barefooted, simply clad and holding his Bible.

He proceeded to offer prayer for those viewing him that “whatever hinders you to greatness” would “give way” and “whatever that does not reflect Jesus in your life” would “be removed”.

After climbing down from the rocky heights, the cleric then showed the makeshift, rickety hut he was staying in whilst at the ‘prayer mountain’.

The clip attracted thousands of comments, many of whom extolled Joshua’s humble and simple lifestyle.

His YouTube channel, Emmanuel TV, recently surpassed the milestone of 1,000,000 subscribers, making it the most popular Christian ministry channel worldwide.

Time for prayer, is time to see ourselves as God sees us. Today, we no longer see ourselves as God sees us. We are no longer conscious of our sin and that is why we dare Jesus Christ’s purity and holiness and come to His presence only to ask for His blessings. We must believe that God knows us, even as we come with our petitions, requests and complaints. In whichever way you come to His presence, you must believe that God knows who you were, who you are and who you shall be. He knows where you are coming from, where you are and where you intend to go.

In Luke 5:8, when Peter saw Jesus, he acknowledged his position as a sinner in need of redemption that was why he cried out, saying, “…‘Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man’ ”. The evidence of our genuine repentance is to demonstrate our loyalty by doing those things God asks us to do and refraining from every act that displeases Him. Remember, no one is too good or too bad to qualify for salvation.

Isaiah 59:1-2 says, “Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.”

T.B. Joshua Names Man of the Year

Prophet T.B. Joshua

A non-denominational group, Christian-to-Christian Network (CCN) has declared the Founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet T.B. Joshua, as its Man of the Year for 2018, citing his contributions to humanity.

In a statement by its National President, Pastor Ifeanyi Odili, the group said Joshua, apart from continually helping the less-privileged, had also boosted the Nigerian economy through the influx of foreigners to the SCOAN in Lagos, to obtain spiritual benefits.

“After a thorough assessment of church leaders in the country for the year gone by, we are overwhelmed enough to conveniently declare that Pastor T.B Joshua is our Man of the Year among Nigerian clerics for 2018.

“This is simply due to the fact that he keeps giving back to the society what the society gave to the Church. He has entrenched the original practice of the Church of the olden days, which took care of the needy, the less-privileged, and the weak among the brethren.

“During festivities, Joshua would gather the poor and distribute bags of rice, vegetable oil, clothing, and cash sums to those who ordinarily felt forsaken.

This is aside from giving scholarship, digging bore-holes for indigent rural dwellers, and empowering widows to be self-sustaining.

“Besides, we are also impressed with his continuous assistance to Nigerian emigrants in Libya, who are trapped under slavery and are in need of a helping hand to come back home and resettle,” the CCN said.

The body thus urged other men of God to take a cue from Joshua, “especially those who set up universities and other educational institutions that children of the less-privileged in their respective churches cannot attend, owing to exorbitant tuition fees.”
